We have had the pleasure of cooking with Shelagh a few times with 6 or 8 of us! Each time we learn something new that we can apply to our cooking skills, and Shelagh makes it so fun!! This has become a great tradition when our kids are home, such a fun thing to do with them.

In my private first lesson, we made potstickers and Pad Thai. It was exciting to work with new ingredients. Shelagh has given me the confidence to venture out and make several other Asian dishes. Lesson two helped me prepare for a brunch I was hosting. She had me pick one entree from each of three groups: savory, sweet, and salads. Entertaining people can be a little intimidating, but with Shelagh's support and expertise, I was able to offer a beautiful meal. Besides giving instructions on the particular recipe at hand, she also sprinkles in a lot of general cooking tips. Her culinary knowledge, relaxed attitude, and sense of humor make for a wonderful experience. I can't wait to learn more from Shelagh!

I bought a private pizza making class with Shelagh for my two grandchildren and their significant others who are in their twenties...with the caveat that I would attend with them. It was the highlight of the year—fresh pizza in Shelagh's new backyard pizza oven with all the trimmings. Not only was it a perfect evening weather-wise, but we had a delicious dinner with all the trimmings and learned many tips and tricks for making homemade pizza inside and outdoors as well.
